The American Legion Post 42 Charitable Foundation’s 2026 Golf Outing was a tremendous success, thanks to the incredible support of our golfers, sponsors, and dedicated volunteers. The day began under beautiful skies, with the traditional putting contest followed by a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. Most groups were able to complete 11 or 12 holes before lightning forced us to bring everyone safely off the course.

The earlier finish simply moved up the schedule, allowing us to gather sooner for a delicious meal and warm camaraderie. The weather may have cut the golf short, but it did nothing to dampen the outstanding spirit of the day.

This event remains our flagship fundraiser of the year, and every golfer and sponsor played a vital role in its success. Your generosity and participation are deeply appreciated and sincerely recognized. We truly could not do this without you.
